Chautauqua Home Rehabilitation and Improvement Corporation (CHRIC) classic golf tournament

Chautauqua Golf Club, Hill Course, 4731 West Lake Road, Chautauqua. Registration at 7 a.m., shotgun start at 8 on Hill Course. Entry fee $95 includes 18 holes of golf with cart, morning refreshments, 2 drink tickets, luncheon, awards reception, raffles and steak luncheon at the Lake Chautauqua Memorial VFW Post $8647, 10 Memorial Drive, Mayville following the tournament. All proceeds help low-moderate income local families.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats. One must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet. The Cat’s Meow Boutique will be open for purchases by the public. For details, call 716 672-1991.

National Theatre Live presents: “Good”

Chautauqua Rails to Trails Wine Walk

Webb Trail trailhead, left of Boxcar Barney’s, Mayville. Begins at 2 p.m. with walker starting in 15 minute increments until 5 p.m. Presale tickets available for $35 per person at https://www.chaurtt.org. Designated tickets offered at $10 per person. 5o tickets per half hour.

Six wine stops includes a dry and sweet option and a food pairing. To participate in the wine tasting, must be 21 or older and present ID. Funds raised will be used to maintain Chautauqua Rails to Trails.
